Stoke by Nayland Crosse Keyeshistorical closure era: ancient
The Crosse Keyes is listed in a vellum indenture - being an assignment of a mortgage - dated November 1679.
Apparently a residential building now located in School Street replaced the original building some time in the 1970s and is also called Cross Keys.
