Listed in 1892 in both Stowmarket and Ipswich and also listed in 1896 as brewers in Stowupland, Stowmarket, Ipswich and Copenhagen.

Registered as Prentice, Thomas & Co Ltd in 1909 but were by then principally maltsters.

Sold to Greene King in 1934 for £1250.
