Founded in mid-2006 by local CAMRA member Frank Walsh and his partner Colleen Seymour.
Due to health and financial problems, brewing ceased in 2012, but restarted mid-2015.
The brewery owners also converted a local photographic studio into the brewery tap in 2011, and continue to run that bar today. Beers from this brewery are generally only available at the tavern.
