An Advert in the Ipswich Journal** in Dec 1860 states that :

Albion Brewery, Queen Street, Ipswich. E Mullet and Co. Beg to inform all housekeepers and families they have taken the above, and have a good stock of fine home brewed ales, which they will send out in small or large casks. If not approved of will be taken back again and exchanged. The XX ales are particularly recommended, at 1s, per gallon. Casks not charged for.
