Burnt Mill
Started production in 2017. Set up in a former farm dairy complex in Badley, to create unfiltered craft beers that are usually available in keg or cans. They do not produce any real ales. Their wide range of craft beers are, however very tasty and many are named after various nearby fields. Sophie de Ronde has been head brewer here since 2018 and in 2020 was awarded "Brewer of the Year" by the British Guild of Beer Writers.
Production moved soon after commencement to a unit on an industrial estate just over the border in Stowmarket.
The name comes from the nearby main Needham Market to Stowmarket road, which is shown on old maps as Burnt Mill Road.
