Rushmere
Introduction
A rural parish with an ancient parish church with a thatched roof and a round tower containing two bells - dedicated to St. Michael or All Saints. Rushmere was recorded in Domesday as "Ryscemara" and appears on John Speed's 1610 map as "Kuſhmere".
