This restaurant and pub had an open fire and food was also available throughout the week (apart from Tuesdays). The fine dining restaurant was also open on Friday and Saturday evenings.
It had one en-suite letting room.
According to a local resident talking to Lesley Dolphin on BBC Radio Suffolk, the pub is closed and has been sold to the neighbouring poultry factory. When visited in August 2016, there were notices saying it's going to be demolished in October. However, when visited in August 2017, the building was still standing (and fully-signed) and appears to be being used as offices.
The pub is shown on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. larger map
