Brockley Fox & Houndshistorical era: Victorian / Edwardian
The Fox & Hounds was built late in the 16th century, with extensions added early in the 17th century. The quoted closure date of 1988 is in doubt - could it actually have been 1918?
It's now Fox Farmhouse; well-hidden behind a lot of trees, hence the poor (and distant) view in our photograph, as it isn't possible to get any closer without trespassing.
It's shown on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. larger map
