A beerhouse is shown on the 1883 OS map, it is assumed this is probably the Lamb. If you can confirm or refute this, please let us know (interactive map).
Our picture shows what seems to coincide with the right building on the map. Due to high hedges, this is the best view possible without trespassing.
(Lamb Inn is shown at Upper Green, Gazeley, in the 1881 census, which agrees with the above map and former boundary.)
The Lamb was formerly located in Gazeley, prior to a boundary change in 1894.
A planning application to change this pub to residential use was lodged in July 1978, so the pub probably closed about that time.
