Higham (West Suffolk) Station Hotel
also traded as as: Station inn, Tavern Inn ??historical era: Victorian / Edwardian
closed between 1958 and 1981
The Station Hotel was formerly in Gazeley, prior to a boundary change in 1894.
The inn appears on the 1958 OS map but has disappeared by the 1981 sheet, so must presumably have closed between those dates.
The 1881 census lists the Tavern Inn, Lower Green, Gazeley (Suffolk) with the same publicans as the 1879 Kelly's Directory's Station Inn, so the two are probably the same.
It's shown on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. larger map
