Hundon Red Lion
also traded as as: Lionhistorical era: late 20th century
closed between 1967 and 1983?
The Red Lion building dates from the early 18th century. The pub is shown on OS maps at least as late as 1967 but seems to be gone by the 1983 sheet, so presumably closed between those dates.
It has also been reported in The Street and High Street.
The pub can be seen on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. larger map
