Overview | Gallery | Historical info | Public transport | Map

This was a public house until 1977. My grandparents, William and Kathleen Bangs, were the licensees from 1952 till it closed. Then they retired and the building was never used as a pub again.

(information supplied by Rachel Cladingbowl)

It's also listed at Southend (1839 and 1840) at Old Nelson Street (or 47 Nelson Street) and at 73 London Road (1874).
