Stoke by Clare Six Bellshistorical closure era: Victorian / Edwardian
closed between 1901 and 1924?
The Six Bells is known to date back at least to 1792, when the Bury & Norwich Post reported it was for sale. It appears on the 1898 OS map but not on the 1924 sheet, so presumably closed between 1901 (the last directory entry found so far) and 1924.
