The Dog & Duck reopened in Summer 2016 after a major refit. This pub was originally part of the adjacent railway station buildings (Campsea Ash for Wickham Market). Accommodation is in a converted barn & cottage. It is family & dog friendly and offers home cooked food. Country markets are held weekly on Mondays on a nearby site.

It was renamed the Duck in May 2019.
