Real Ale is available here
After 25 years closed, the Ark reopened on Thursday November 2nd 2017.
Much of the space is taken up with a restaurant, with a bar area also available. Real Ales are served from pins on the bar.
In the later years of its original incarnation, the Ark had a reputation as a place where unusual (for the time) Real Ales were to be had. Many beer-lovers from Ipswich would make the trek here for something different.
The pub's name reputedly dates back to an earlier building which was constructed out of timbers from an old ship.
Railway station about 0.9 mile away (see public transport tab for details)
