Pakenham Woolpackhistorical era: mid 20th century
closed between 1958 and 1974?
Located just outside Ixworth, the building dates from the late 17th century. Due to its closer proximity to Ixworth than to the main Pakenham settlement, it has sometimes been recorded in the former village.
The pub is shown on the 1958 OS map but not on the 1974 or subsequent sheets, so presumably closed between those dates.
It can be see on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. larger map
