New management November 2018. Timber framed local retaining a Lacons sign. Part of the building survived the Great Fire of Badwell Ash in 1723, while the bar was rebuilt after the fire. Back seating area for meals and bar games. Plans for a sports bar and restuarant.
The older part of the building dates from the 16th century, though the exterior is 19th century.
