A locals' pub offering good beer. It was built in the 18th century, though the façade dates from the 19th century.
Now a freehouse offering an ever changing selection of beers from breweries near and far. Despite its small size there are three linked yet separate drinking areas with tiled or wooden floors. A long corridor containing some very distinctive artwork leads to a room with a pool table and a large garden. There is also outside seating at the front of the pub. Live music alternate Saturdays.
