Fore Hamlet
grid reference TM 172 439 (approximate location)
The exact location and history of this pub is still to be confirmed but it seems likely to have been on other side of road from the current Gardeners' Arms. Any information that can be supplied to assist us would be much appreciated.
It's listed at 88 Fore Hamlet until at least 1871.
It is sometimes called the Old Gardeners' Arms (but that was probably after the pub had closed).
