The pub is currently closed. A notice on the door says the building was repossessed and the locks changed on the 4th of December 2017.

Set alongside wheat fields in the hamlet of Forward Green. The pub has been part of the community for many years and has always been somewhere special for both locals and passers-by alike. Its most recent transformation has seen it develop into a country bar, contemporary lounge and a modern eaterie.
