It can be seen on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. interactive map
Shown on OS maps a century ago, this beerhouse is only actually named in the 1891 census.
It's only marked as a beerhouse at Steeplechase Terrace on the 1904 OS map, it appears on the 1959 map as "Red House Inn". It isn't marked on subsequent available maps, but they're insufficiently detailed to draw any conclusions about closure date from them.

Historical interest
In 1937 the pub was listed in Kelly's Directory as one of 220 pubs that were retailing beer that they were brewing.
Bob Mullock recalls that his grand-parents - Maud & Bill Ashby - were the licences here in the early 1960s. At this time there was no mains electricity or gas to the premises and he doesn't think they had a spirit licence either - i.e. it was still a beer house.
