old OS map

A popular restaurant and bar set close to the sea wall with good views out to sea from the upper windows. The original Victorian building was extended in the late 1990s. The restaurant offered locally caught fish.

The building was apparently purchased in April 2011, though to date nothing has been done with it and as late as June 2024 the building was still empty and abandoned.

Owner/operator: Arden Build & Design
Tastefully refurbished, no-frills pub. Good ale and food, including locally caught fish. An extension to the current building is planned.
Beers: Adnams Bitter, Broadside; Greene King IPA; Tetley BitterCAMRA's 1997 Suffolk Real Ale Guide
