bar / diner, opened 2007
owner/operator: Milton Pubs and Taverns
Modern bar/restaurant located on an industrial estate on outskirts of town. Originally a Harvester, then a ploughman's pub/restaurant, part of Milton Pubs & Taverns Limited. Now a family owned restaurant inspired by the Lithuanian Baltic district.
It was originally the Haver Arms and seems to have been renamed early in 2020.
It's actually just over the county border in Sturmer, but we list it here as it's effectively in the Haverhill conurbation. We don't keep any up-to-date information about this pub.
When the Haver Arms was just built and all set to open (in February 2007) it incurred delays because although it had secured a licence from St Edmundsbury District Council the pub was actually located in Essex. This forced the owners to abandon their original opening plans when officials pointed the error out.
