A Grade 2* listed pub on the outskirts of the town where beamed ceilings and low level partitions give much character. An outbuilding is available for functions.

The building dates from the 15th or 16th century.

Also listed at Hadleigh Bridge.

We were informed in November 2016 that the pub has been closed for a couple of months. Apparently it does occasionally reopen for private parties.
