Great Waldingfield Fox Beerhousehistorical era: Victorian / Edwardian
closed between 1905 and 1926?
Upsher Green, CO10 0TS
The Fox is marked as a beerhouse on OS maps at least as late as 1905, but not on the 1926 or subsequent sheets, so probably closed between those dates.
The fox is shown on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. (larger map). The building is still called Fox Cottage and even features a fox on its weather vane (see the gallery).
