With up to six cask ales and good community spirit it is no wonder this has been a West Suffolk & Borders CAMRA branch Pub of the Year. The July beer festival is an event not to be missed along with other events such as live music, sporting events and theatre suppers. For summer there is a huge back garden and in winter the enormous fire in the bar is a magnet. The food, normally only served at weekends, is imaginative and very good.

Built 17th-18th century. A brewery was once located on the site.
