A modern pub/restaurant that retains a small flag-stoned floor area near the bar. Many fixtures and fittings come from a local church which was demolished.

The original George, which had stood for many centuries, burned down at the end of the 19th century.

There's an outdoor drinking and play area. Special events include themed food evenings. Quiz every Thursday evening (8-10pm)
