Ipswich Greyhound

historical era: Victorian / Edwardian

closed 1930s?

9-11 Salem St

Overview | Public transport | Map

Little is known about this pub reference, except that it's listed in the 1909 Ipswich Rates book. It is probably a mis-reporting of the Greyhound, 9-11 Henley Road. It was not found in the 1901 & 1911 censuses.

Salem Street ran west from St George's Street a short distance to Dyke Street.
