Framlingham Castle Inn
Framlingham Castle Inn
52.21832,1.3452
Closed: before 1840
Fairfield Rd
grid reference TM 286 630 (approximate location)
There has been another reference to a pub called the Castle on Fairfield Road (though it's uncertain where this reference came from) which must have been this pub. It seems probable that before the coming of the railway to Fram, Fairfield Road must have been the main road towards Woodbridge, with Station Road being newly constructed to serve the station rather than renamed.
