This former visitor centre and shop located beside the historic Westgate brewery brewhouse has just been revamped (March 2016) into a cafe, shop and bar. It is now undoubtedly the closest public bar to the brewery complex.
The bar is now open from 8am until 6pm (Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm Sat), and is licensed for both the general public and brewery tour visitors. Anyone interested in a brewery tour should book first (tours on most days) see their website.
The bar will offer a selection of draught products and a full range of bottled and other packaged products from the brewery.
Food and snacks including breakfast is also available alongside various other beverages and soft drinks.
