Closed in 2017 and subsequently converted into a Kurdish community centre.

It was a popular, large pub, with a single main servery and several interconnected drinking areas.

This pub had a wide selection of Real Ales (8 on hand pump) and a minimum of 8 ciders (up to 12 from spring till October) on draught.

There was live music several nights a week, when the pub could get very busy.
