A village centre pub of character, and a good find for real ale fans, being a true free house. Normally there are two or three handpumps offering both local and national beers. Happy hour is 5-6pm Monday to Thursday. The pub is bigger than it looks from the front and has a patio area at the rear. There is a public car park nearby. Traditional Sunday lunches are popular. Crib and darts played.
Beer served through handpulls
Lunchtime meals (not just snacks)
Traditional pub games available
Bus stop nearby (see public transport tab for details)
Railway station about 2.6 miles away (see public transport tab for details)
Quiet pub - no electronic games, piped music or jukebox
Beer garden or other outside drinking area
