Overview | Gallery | Historical info | Public transport | Map

A large pub on the town's High Street. It closed approximately 2014 and was apparently converted into a community centre. However, a report in the EADT in September 2019 indicates that it has reopened. We currently have no more information.

The original Globe, at 63 High St was demolished in 1885.

The Globe has been listed at this address from at least 1861.
