This single room street corner pub stands in the shadow of the lighthouse and is very close to Adnams brewery. The interior was significantly modernised in 2003 as Adnams sought to create a number of bistro style pubs. It still retains a few bits of nautical bric-a-brac and offers five Adnams real ales along with other Adnams beers and spirits. There are also a small number of tables outside the pub. Built circa 1835.
