The majority of pubs have now reopened after the latest lockdown, albeit still with restrictions. Many pubs currently have temporary trading hours; these are shown where known. We also show pubs we know have still not reopened as temporarily closed.

Beyton Brewery Company

Bury Rd, Beyton

The Beyton Brewery Co was located behind the White Horse.

From about 1874 to at least 1885 John Corsbie-Brown was brewing here.

Kelly's 1879 Directory lists The Beyton Brewery Co., White Horse Inn, & brewers, maltsters, coal, timber & wine & spirit merchants. (Oliver Laflin manager.)

The 1881 Census lists John Corsbie Brown Corsbie as a brewer, merchant & farmer at Beyton House, Head/Married/63/born Great Leighs, Essex.
