Ipswich Possible old pub
Ipswich Possible old pub
South East, 52.05557,1.15392
Speculative: was this a pub? It looks as if it may have been.
Silent St
grid reference TM 163 443
A building which looks as if it may once have been an inn or a hotel (particularly in our first photograph in 2010, where it has a roof-front where a hotel might have had its name emblazoned). If you can confirm or refute this idea, please let us know. An old (undated) photograph in the possession of the Ipswich Society shows it with a Watney's Red Barrel sign hanging outside, but unfortunately the name isn't legible.
