On Mon last an inquisition held before JE Sparrow, gent & coroner, on the body of Peter Dankers, who was found dead in his bed that morning at his lodgings at the George the Third Inn. Dankers, a native of Holland, was recently come to Ipswich and for some time had laboured under a severe illness. Verdict: visitation by God.Suffolk Chronicle, 15 Mar 1817
