Characterful country pub unaffected by the ravages of developers; probably the finest remaining example in south-west Suffolk. A classic interior is bedecked with beams and an inglenook fireplace. The interesting array of antiques in the cosy lounge include some which are still breathing! The excellent quality ales in this GBG listed pub include many unusual guests.
Beers: Greene King IPA; Mauldon's Bitter; Woodforde's Wherry; guest beers (independents).CAMRA's 1997 Suffolk Real Ale Guide
