Historical interest
? - William Sindall (d ~1835)
Mike Browne of Weymouth tells us:
Researching my family history and I have found that my ggg grandmother was listed wife of the innkeeper of the White Horse West Row, Mildenhall according to the 1841 in census. My ggg grandfather William Sindall was a publican and from the following happenings believe he ran the White Horse prior to this, but died around 1835 and his wife Eliza (nee Place) remarried to a Mr Aves (I see the Aves family also had the pub later on) by 1941 Aves had also died and she married a Mr Andrew Clarke as shown on the 1841 census living at the White Horse as Innkeeper. My only query is this the same building? I hope to call there later this spring to make further enquiries.
