Blyford

Introduction
Blyford is a tiny hamlet overlooking grazing meadows, which was recorded in Domesday as "Blideforda". John Speed's 1610 map shows the village as "Bliforde".
Serpentine House is named after the "crinkle-crankle" wall along the roadside. A smugglers' tunnel is said to run from the church to the pub.
