Buxhall
Introduction
Buxhall is a quiet village on a hill overlooking the River Rat. Much of the housing is fairly modern. The tower mill is now used for a home and was mentioned in Domesday, where the village was variously recorded as "Buressalla", "Bukessalla", "Buckeshala" and "Bukesalla".
Fasbourne Hall dates from before 1332.
