Important Covid information

If all goes according to plan, the first tranche of pubs (those that are able to serve drinkers outdoors) may be able to reopen on April 12th. Though of course, in a situation like this, nothing is guaranteed. The rest of our pubs may be permitted to reopen from May 17th.

Pubs providing takeaways continue to be listed on this page.

Those known to be planning to reopen as soon as permitted are listed on this page.

Burnt Fen Fish & Duck (Prickwillow)

Burnt Fen Fish & Duck (Prickwillow)

Historically in Suffolk but moved due to boundary changes.

Lark Bank

grid reference TL 609 826

The Fish & Duck is shown on the 1958 OS map but has disappeared by the 1974 sheet, so must have closed in between these dates. It actually stood a short distance inside Cambridgeshire, but we list it here as it was in the area known as Burnt Fen.

It's presumably been demolished, as no sign of it could be found in 2009.

The pub is shown on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. interactive map
