The Newmarket Pubs website tells us that this pub only traded for a short time as the Queen Victoria before being renamed the Victory.
After closure, the Victor's license was transferred to the newly-build Palomino.
The Victory was diagonally opposite the St Mary's Square, up a narrow alley. All now re developed. Last licensee was Percy Willett but unfortunately I do not have exact dates.Tony Pringle
