This was a friendly two room traditional pub set in six acres of grounds.
It was converted into a cycle shop and café in 2014, having suffered a serious fire from which the business never recovered, a couple of years earlier.

A friendly welcome is always on tap in this pub, set amidst six acres of grounds. Two bars, a games room and a children's play area make this the ideal sojourn for a family day out. No food Mon. A cask breather may be used on the Abbot in winter.
