In the heart of the village just 5 miles south of Bury St Edmunds on the edge of Hoggards Green. They have regular entertainment with live music, karaoke & discos to keep the Red House rocking! Lunches Mon to Sat served 12 to 2pm and evening meals 5 to 8pm. Family friendly and friendly dogs welcome . Also Lovely garden at rear. Parking available and a 10 cycle parking area.
A notice posted in the pub (Feb 2020) states that they now close at 10pm (last orders 9.30) on Tuesday and Sunday evening EXCEPT on quiz/event nights.

George Crosby was asked to leave the Red House for using foul language but he refused. He was fined 6d with 8s 6d costs. He with others were drinking the landlords beer.
