Ipswich Arcade Street Tavern
Ipswich Arcade Street Tavern
Real Ale is sold here.
1 Arcade Street, IP1 1EX
grid reference TM 161 445
A stylish and quirky multi-roomed café bar, with a traditional wooden interior, close to the Corn Exchange.
There's an emphasis on craft beers, plus two hand-pumps with ever changing Real Ales and a selection of about 130 imported bottled beers. No house food but the bar hosts "street food Fridays" in conjunction with various other local traders - see the website for details.
There are sizeable outside heated seating areas and 2 function rooms upstairs - one often used for cutting edge product launches. Over 35 gins and artisan coffee are also available. There are themed evenings such as vinyl and DJ nights - plus some electro/swing sessions. The closing times may be earlier or later depending on the number of customers.
