Opened in mid November 2018 as a sister pub to the Three Wise Monkeys in Colchester. A spacious three-floor modern tap house and barbecue smokehouse restaurant in Ipswich town centre.
At least two cask ales are usually served, often including the house beer, Road Hog Best Bitter, along with a wide selection of craft/keg beers. Beers served include those from Other Monkey Brewing (a related business in Colchester). Tasting racks are available of 4 x 1/3 pints of beer.
There is private hire space in the basement.

Originally opened in 1997 as the Hogshead (part of a national chain owned by Greene King), then later turned into Lloyd's Tavern. This closed in 2010 and the building was subsequently boarded up for 8 years.
