A former hairdresser's converted into a cosy café bar and set in a small lane close to the splendid 14th century St Mary le Tower church. It was nicely decorated, with exposed beams.
On the evidence of the ancient-looking and very hefty sign-hanger on the corner, this must have been a pub in the distant past as well, but we have no details. Perhaps it was related to this unidentified pub?
Church's closed late in 2016. In 2021, it was noticed that it was on the market. In 2023 the building was renovated and by January 2024 it was being marketed as suitable for a restaurant or bar.
