Speculative: was this a pub? It looks as if it may have been.

Snow Hill

grid reference TL 770 461

A building which looks as if it may once have been a pub. Although it's set in a development of new housing, the building can be seen on OS maps as far back as 1885: the 1902 OS map shows it as the only building in the area.

If you can confirm or refute this, or have any more information, please let us know.
