According to the Listed Buildings Register entry for a house called "New Delight":

The unusual name is said to come from a former public house on the opposite side of the road, owned by the same family.

We're assuming from this that the pub was called "The Delight".

Large scale OS maps from as early as the 1880s don't show any buildings on the other side of the road, so it must be assumed that it was demolished a long time ago.
